Senior Accountant (M/W/D)

Type of position: Full-time

We are a Luxembourg-based fiduciary (“expert-comptable”) helping medium sized companies to prosper in their business with a vision to go beyond the standard service levels. We are subsidiary of Moore TK Germany who operates in Germany from 4 locations and who will celebrate 100 years of activity in 2023. We are also part of the international Moore Global Network, an association of independent accounting and tax advisory companies. As our business develops, we are looking for initiative-taking professionals to be part of this growth and be part of our excellent team: Senior Accountant (M/W/D)

Your profile:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance or economics or a similar qualification or experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the fields of accounting for commercial companies and special purpose vehicles

  • Deep knowledge of Lux GAAP; IFRS would be an advantage

  • Independent accountant

  • Accurate, high attention to detail and solution oriented

  • Efficient, punctual, and able to provide courteous service to our clients

  • Fluent in German and English. French would be a plus

  • Proficient user of MS Office suite and strong aptitude to learn new software; Knowledge of Intec Book In or BOB 50 and/or LucaNet would be an advantage

Your responsibilities:

  • Being the first point of contact for a portfolio of clients

  • Responsibility for accounting of a portfolio of commercial and/or holding companies from A to Z: booking bank statements, invoices, contracts, accruals etc.

  • Independent preparation of VAT and tax returns

  • Preparation of annual accounts and supporting clients during audits

  • Support in consulting projects in accounting, consolidation, and tax advisory
